Christopher
Teh
The
head of TYWT's immigration services division is Christopher
Teh, one of the founding partners of TYWT. He graduated from
the National University of Singapore in 1987 with a Bachelor
of Laws (Honours) degree. After obtaining admission as an Advocate
& Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1988, he
pursued a postgraduate course at the University of Nottingham,
United Kingdom and graduated with a Master of Laws in International
Law in 1989.
Christopher has been instrumental in adding New Zealand immigration
services to TYWT's portfolio of services. Being a New Zealand
permanent resident and having lived in New Zealand for a few
years as an Asian migrant himself, he has first-hand knowledge
and experience of the New Zealand visa application process as
well as of the ups and downs of the Asian migrant's life. He
has also set up a viable network of professional contacts (consisting
largely of Asian migrants living and working in New Zealand)
- TYWT's New Zealand immigration clients can tap onto this useful
network to make their resettlement in New Zealand as painless
as possible.
In line with his role as a general practitioner, Christopher
handles a diverse range of cases, including divorces, conveyancing
and property transactions, probate and estate matters, debt
claims, child custody and adoption applications, insurance claims,
landlord and tenant matters, company formation and secretarial
services, accident and personal injury claims, and, of course,
immigration matters.
